Year End Giving Campaign

Crazy8 Ministries continues to grow, but we cannot do what we do without your financial support. This year, we are blessed to have a $10,000 match for our year end campaign graciously provided by Baker Foundation of Burleson and Express Employment Professionals of Johnson County. We ask that you please consider prayerfully any extra financial helps as every dollar up to $10,000 will be matched this year.
This Year…
We have had the pleasure of serving many men, women, and children this year through our community events, prayer room, counseling services, and housing services. We were also blessed to bring City on a Hill back this year after missing three years. But, before I give our stats, I want to share a seven-year vision that we are watching come to life.
In 2015 when we bought our first piece of land, it had a metal building that we envisioned renovating into a space where all our residents could come together for trainings, meals, celebrations, etc., and connect. However, with each passing year, our finances and energies have been used to supply for our housing needs, including the purchasing of 4 more lands. This only increased our need for a large meeting space since our housing capacity has grown from 12 to 60.
That said, we are excited to share that we applied for a county grant to pay for the project, and it was approved! This building will include a space with a kitchenette, two large bathrooms and enough space to seat 100 people comfortably at tables. Our Connections Center is due to be finished by the end of the year. Of course, we will still have some needs to complete the project, but we are beyond excited about the opportunities this opens for serving our residents, clients, and community.
And now for our 2022 Stats…
HOUSING:
- 63 total residents housed: 4 males, 30 females, and 29 children.
- 12 residents graduated from our program and are now self-sustaining
- 17 jobs acquired, and 19 jobs sustained.
- 10 major car repairs made, 15 cars purchased, and 1 DL acquired
- 12 medical, 1 dental, and 7 vision services provided
- 3 residents working on their GED, 5 entered in higher education, and 2 received certifications.
- 6 family reunifications in 2022.
COMMUNITY COUNSELING: 185 clients served
PRAYER/HEALING ROOM: 344 clients served
CITY ON A HILL: 82 Vendors
