WHM Director
Lisa has been discipling, mentoring and counseling women, students, and young girls through Biblical Truths for more than a decade. She currently works with many students within various youth groups and colleges, as well as individually. She also began a local “Mother’s Support Group” from her home that is now a part of the Discipleship Ministry meeting at the Stomping Grounds. She is the founder of Crazy8 Ministries and an ordained minister of the Gospel. Lisa loves to speak the Truth of God’s Word and is convinced that the Bible has the answer to any challenge we face today.
Lisa believes in the “Titus 2″ concept of the older women teaching the younger women and has her own Biblical mentor of 16 years. God has used her mentor to teach her the foundations of Scripture and its application to her every day life as a wife and mother. It was her own discipleship experience and the healing and guidance that it brought that compels Lisa to do what she does. It is solely through the Truth of God’s Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit that she advises and counsels others. It is her desire to instill hope into hearts with the love of Christ. Lisa has her Biblical Counseling Certification from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. To read more about Lisa, click here.
WHM House Manager
Kimber has been married for 28 years, has two married children and grandchildren. She has been a member of her current congregation for more than 15 years, where she has been involved in all levels of ministry with youth, women and children as well as working in administration over Sunday School, bible studies and small groups. She is certified in biblical counseling.
Kimber is a firm believer that just because something appears to have a pretty bow on the outside, does not make it perfect on the inside. She often says, “You do not know my story?it is not all pretty, but it is all my testimony.” It is only through her personal relationship with Christ that she was able to journey to where she is today. It was in the midst of that journey, that God brought hope and healing into her own life, and she believes this for those around her as well. It has been her heart and passion for God’s will in her life as well as her own experience being mentored that has enabled her to counsel struggling teenagers, victims of physical/sexual abuse, recovering addicts, and those suffering from depression and low self-worth. Kimber’s desire is to be quick to listen and quick to pray. She understands that pain is a part of our lives here on earth and has a ready compassion that is centered in the mercy, grace and truth of God’s Word. It is this grounding in the Word of God that gives her words power as she counsels women who struggle in their lives, pointing them always back to the cross and to God.
