Our Mission:

To come alongside others in order to instill hope, healing and life transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, so they may live victoriously in Jesus Christ.

BCDM comes alongside you to help identify your struggle and guide you to the scriptural principles that instruct and direct your walk of faith; to help you find healing from the past, give practical help today, and strive towards living victoriously tomorrow.

Counseling and discipleship go hand-in-hand. Sometimes a person needs discipleship to help them move forward in their life while another person might need some counseling as well as discipleship to grow to victory. We work with both men and women, all age groups, as well as families/couples. Our BCDM Director and Discipleship Coordinator work together to assess each client in order provide services specified to the needs of each individual case. Some of our services include:

• One-on-one counseling
• Child Training/Parent Discipleship
• Play/Art Therapy for children
• Financial Counseling/Discipleship
• Family counseling/Discipleship
• An internship program
• One-on-one discipleship
• Discipleship Groups

We also provide training in counseling and discipleship in order to empower others to go and make disciples of their own. The Discipleship Center is available to the community for small group events, trainings, studies, etc.

Please note: All of our counselors are certified biblical counselors.

BCDM Director

Kisty has a Masters of Education in Counseling and has been working in public schools for over 13 years. She has worked with students ages 5-18. She recently resigned from public education to serve in the world of ministries. She is active in her church of 11 years in all areas including children’s, youth, and adult ministries. She loves teaching and sharing the gospel and believes the bible is absolute truth. It is Kisty’s desire to share God’s truth so that all people know their creator and their identity in Him.

Kisty was saved at the age of 14 but did not actively follow Christ until three years ago. Coming from a dysfunctional home, Kisty has had many years of difficult living but through the support of a Christian recovery program she has taken up her cross and fervently followed Christ. It is her heart’s desire to come alongside of women and lift them to a higher place in their spiritual walk toward Jesus. She is a true Texan with the motto, “Go Big or Go Home.” So Kisty loves big, hugs big, and laughs big. Some of her favorite verses are 1Corinthians 3:13, Romans 7:15, Mark 9:23, Proverbs 16:32, and Ephesians 6:14-17. Kisty is serving as Biblical Counseling Director of Crazy8 Ministries.

BCDM Coordinator

Kelly has worked with youth for more than seven years in many capacities. She served as a youth associate for two years leading bible studies, planning recreational activities and organizing the youth calendar. Kelly’s heart for youth goes back to her own high school day where she served as a chaplain at school. Kelly currently teaches 11th & 12th grade Sunday School in her home church.

Several years ago God began burdening Kelly for her own family, encouraging her to make sacrifices in her time to better serve her two children and her husband. From there God began to show her the importance of obedience and a submissive heart to His authority and how that influences the training and discipline of her children. God taught her to trust in His Word for guidance and direction in this ongoing task. Recently, God has turned Kelly’s heart toward to other parents who are in the midst of this same battle for their children’s hearts. “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” Proverbs 4:23

Kelly is currently working towards her Biblical counseling certification and stays at home with her son and daughter. She has been married for 8 years.
