Crazy8 Ministries offers both an Internship and an Apprenticeship program for women wishing to grow in maturity and leadership in discipling women.
The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of disciples,
That I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word.
He awakens Me morning by morning,
He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple. Is 50:4
The Internship Program
Being an Intern with Crazy8 Ministries (C8M) is an opportunity to develop a deeper heart and passion for the Lord as well as grow in serving others.
Now in Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which translated in Greek is called Dorcas);
this woman was abounding with deeds of kindness and charity which she continually did. Acts 9:36
You must fill out an Intern Application Form and be willing to submit to direct supervision by at least one member of C8M staff (as well as the Board) during your term as an Intern. This includes a willingness to accept correction and direction for your spiritual walk and all aspects of your life; in other words, to be willing to be fully discipled.
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. 2 Tim 3:16-17
There is no limit to the length of time one may serve an Intern. But it is important to understand that the Intern is not on track to becoming staff member of C8M. At the end of the Intern period C8M will supply a letter of recommendation and/or commendation for the Intern’s resume if she wishes. To Intern you must be at least 14 years old. (Minors must have written approval of a parent or guardian.)
The Apprenticeship Program
Being an Apprentice with Crazy8 Ministries is an opportunity for specific training in your areas of strength/gifting as well as discipleship in your own life in order to minister to the needs of women.
As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10
You must fill out an Apprentice Application Form and sign an Apprentice Contract. This Apprentice Contract means you are agreeing to be under the direct supervision of at least one member of C8M staff (as well as the Board). During this time you must demonstrate a lifestyle growing in proven godly character and be open to correction, training and reproof from the Word of God.
He whose ear listens to the life-giving reproof will dwell among the wise. Prov 15:31
For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching is light; And reproofs for discipline are the way of life. Prov 6:23
The Apprentice training is for a period of 6 months with the understanding that she is working toward becoming a member of C8M staff. (Completion of the 6 month Apprenticeship Program does NOT automatically mean acceptance as a staff member. It must be approved by the Board.) The Apprentice Program is modeled after the Bible’s example of godly character for choosing deacons/ministers.
These men must also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons if they are beyond reproach. Tit 3:10
An Apprentice must be at least 21 years old to apply. It is possible that the 6 month Apprentice period may be shortened if the Apprentice served faithfully as an Intern for a minimum period of 6 months. This is completely at the discretion of the Board.
